A Throw finish and some stitching

Here it is the start of another week, and I did have some progress on things over the last week and that makes me happy. I think the cooler weather is also helping me want to sit and craft.

Stained Glass Orca - here is the project that I spent some time working on and getting all the stitches in for the goals that the Toronto Maple Leafs have scored. The good news is I am caught up so that makes me happy.

It has been nice to be able to focus on moving this project forward a bit and just working on it 100 stitches at a time does make a difference. This past week it was catching up for all the goals that they scored the last two games of preseason and then the start of regular season. Now I hope that I can continue to stay caught up and that the Leafs don't have any wild scoring games.

V-Stitch Throw - well after writing last week's blog it was time to try and get the rest of the border completed on the second v-stitch throw and that is exactly what I did. I was able to get the border finished last month and now the two throws are ready to be gifted this week.

I am happy that I was able to get the throws completed quicker than I thought because it means that I wasn't stressed in the last couple of days trying to get the throws completed. It was nice getting the throws done and now I am going to be figuring out the next project that I work on, but I think I will give myself a couple of days before I do that.

Of course, I have lots of yarn waiting to be worked with, so it isn't that I don't have projects that need attention. This week is going to be a little crazy with a work conference so maybe I will wait until next week to figure out the next knitting or crocheting project.

Other projects - honestly after finishing the v-stitch throw I decided it was time to focus on some EPP for a while and it has felt great. Being able to spend some time working on my EPP and seeing the progress that I can make when I focus on it has felt wonderful.

This coming week I am not certain how much crafting I will be able to get accomplished for three days but I hope the other days I can find some time to craft. I know that on the weekend I will be trying to make some progress on things so that is good. I am going to try and make sure that I can keep up with my cross stitch project because that has been making me happy.

I hope everyone finds that bit of time each day or most days to do something that helps you recharge your personal battery. It is very important that we remember to take care of ourselves because that is how we are there for those around us.

Hope everyone has a good week and hopefully I will have some progress on at least one thing so that I can show you next week.

Making some progress on projects

Here it is the start of another week, and I am going to admit that my focus was on just two projects as I wanted to at least get one of them very close to a finish.

Stained Glass Orca - here is a project that I am going to be working on for a while. This project is part of a challenge that I want to do. It got 400 stitches added to it last week and that represented 4 goals from the first two pre-season games of the Toronto Maple Leafs. What I am going to be trying to achieve is stitching 100 stitches per goal that the Toronto Maple Leafs score during this season, including pre-season and hopefully playoffs.

This challenge originated for football, but each person can decide how they want to do the challenge and what sports they are going to use it for. I have decided that I am going to try and move this project forward over the hockey season so we will see how it goes. During the last two pre-season games there were 10 goals scored so I currently owe this project another 1,000 stitches so hopefully I can get that completed soon and be on track for when the regular season starts.

V-stitch Throw - here is the other project that got the most attention in this past week. I have been working hard to get this project finished as I do need to have it finished before the end of this coming weekend. After quite a bit of focus this past week, I currently am working on the border of the throw so I should have it finished before too long.

It has been nice being able to focus on getting this project so we will see how it goes. I haven't figured out the next project that I will work on, but I do know that I have some knitting and crocheting projects that do need attention.

Other projects - I have been working on my English Paper piecing projects this past week, so do have progress on those as well. I will be working on writing that blog later this week.

I have also been working on another project, but don't have anything to show yet but hopefully before long I should be able to show something.

Hope everyone has been able to continue to find that bit of time each day to do something you enjoy doing. I know for me it has helped me recharge my own batteries and it helps.

This week I hope to continue to work on the V-stitch Throw and get it finished and then I will be working on Stained Glass Orca to get some more stitches completed. I should have some progress to show you next week.

Focused on one project, mostly

This past week seemed to go by rather quickly. The weather has been a little cooler, so that has helped a little bit as it has been easier to focus on things. I know that I have been trying to have a focus on getting a project moved forward so that is a lot of what I did this past week.

V-stitch Throw - here is the project that got most of my attention this past week as I have been working hard to get it completed quickly.

As this is the first of two baby blankets that I am making I wanted to ensure that I could get this one finished and then have the time to make the other one. Well, I am happy with the progress that I have been able to make as I am now just started the border. I had given myself until the 16th to get the main part of the throw completed but it was nice to see that I am ahead of that. I now hope to be able to focus on getting the border completed soon so that I can get to working on the second throw.

I have been enjoyed working on this throw and hopefully I can get the next one completed as quickly as I got this one to where it is. I am thinking that if I can get the next one started before too long it would be good as I only have three weeks to get both throws completed. I am pretty sure I am on track to get them both done but I would like to know that they are finished and ready to be gifted.

Other projects - Well, there has been no cross stitching happening as I have been spending most of my crafting time focused on getting the throw completed but that's fine as I will get back to cross stitch soon enough. I have been able to spend a little bit of time working on my English Paper Piecing and that is usually after dinner when I have a few minutes. Some evenings I can get a couple of motifs made so that is nice.

I hope everyone has been able to find that bit of time each day to do something that you enjoy. Just making sure that you can spend some time doing something for yourself is good because it helps recharge your personal battery, so you are there to everyone around you.

We will see how this week goes and what progress I can make on things. It is a little busier of a week for us so we will see what happens. Hope everyone has a good week, and I hope to have some progress to show next week.

A small finish, some progress and change of focus

Here it is the start of another week so that means time to see what I was able to accomplish in the last week.  The weather has been a little cooler so that means that I should have been able to make some good progress on things this past week.

This past week we had some crazy weather so that meant that Wednesday afternoon and evening was spent tracking the weather and then deal with a tornado warning in the city.

Vintage ABC's - M - I was able to work on moving the cross stitch forward which was wonderful as that means that I have another one of the letters completed.

I hope to be able to get back to working on the letters because they don't take long to complete when you can focus on them. I should be able to get back to these soon but there currently is a project that I will be focusing on as it has a deadline so that is going to be my main focus until it is completed.

I do have the next letter ready to stitch so it might get bits of attention, but it wouldn't be the main project at least for the next couple of weeks.

Granny Wrap - I did pick up and work on this wrap for the first couple of days of the week and I was happy with how it was coming along. I know that I had a focus on getting this done as quickly as I could, but plans have changed and this project has been put down until another project gets completed as that other project is my focus.

I am happy that this wrap is available for when I have that bit of time to work on it. It is getting closer to a finish so hopefully once the other project is completed: I can get back to working on this wrap and I can get it done quickly.

V-stitch Throw - here is the new project that I started this week and it will be a project that I work on until it is finished along with a second v-stitch throw. These two throws have a deadline of the beginning of October so that means that these are going to be getting a lot of attention so that I can hopefully get them completed.

I am hoping to have the two of the throws completed as I will see the new father at a conference so I would like to be able to give them to him then. I think I should be able to get them done by then as I have figured out how many rows, I need to do each day so that helps. I will have to make sure that I can get a bit ahead as there are a couple of days when I don't think I will be getting much crafting done.

Other projects - I have been making a bit of progress on my English Paper Piecing so there should be some progress to show you at the end of the month. It is nice to have projects that I can pick up when I have those few minutes especially at the end of the day.

Hope everyone has been finding some time to relax and do something that you enjoy doing. If things so well, I hope to have some progress to show you next week on at least the V-stitch throw and maybe something else, but we will just have to wait and see.

A new start and some progress

Here it is the start of another week, and I will say that I don't have a lot of progress to show for this week. I will have progress to show when I write up my August English Paper Piecing blog.

Vintage ABC's - M - here is the cross stitch that I picked up and started on Saturday. I made some good progress on it and given it got only part of two days worth of stitching I have made some good progress. I hope to be able to continue to move this piece forward even if it is just a little bit at a time.

I do hope that I can focus on moving some of my cross stitch forward even if it's just a few stitches at a time. Getting some more of the ornaments finished that I would like to do would be great so we will see what happens over the next little while.

Granny Wrap - grey - this is the crocheting project that has got some attention in this last week. I have been able to continue with the hour a day of working on this project and I have been able to make some good progress on it. I have decided that as I have used 250 grams out of the 500 grams that I have and the wrap isn't the size that I would like it to be I am going to continue working on this and get the remaining 250 grams into this wrap. Yes, it is going to be a good size when it's finished but that is exactly what I have wanted. This wrap is going to be something that I can wrap myself in.

This wrap has been a lot of fun to work on and it's something that is easy to work on. Having a project that you don't have to worry about getting to an end of a row before you put it down is great. There are times when I only get a few stitches in on it and then it goes back down for a while and other times I can make some good progress on it. The rows are rather long now so it does take quite a while to get across the row.

Other Projects - I have been working quite a bit on my English Paper Piecing projects and am happy with the progress that I have made. There will be a separate post on that as I wrap up all the EPP I have done through August.

I hope everyone is finding that bit of time each day to do something that you enjoy. It doesn't have to be something big just making sure that you take that little bit of time for yourself is important. Hopefully next week I will have some progress to show you on what I worked on this week. Have a great week and I will check in next Monday.

At least some progress

Here it is the start of another week and time to show what I was able to accomplish in the last week. I really don't have a lot to show as something else has got most of my attention this past week. Yes, my English Paper Piecing projects have been getting quite a bit of attention. More about that at the end of the month.

Stained Glass Orca - this project did get a little bit of attention this past week as I worked on getting a bit more of the outline completed. I also started to fill in at least bits of colour so that I could see some progress in some of the areas.

I think this project is now going to go away for a little bit as I have a challenge that I am going to be using this for starting in September. With the challenge, I hope to be able to move this project forward quite a bit so it can be put down for now. I will explain the challenge that I am doing once it has started.

Granny wrap - grey - now here is one project that has got quite a bit of attention this week. I decided that I wanted to try and work on the wrap for at least an hour each day and it has worked. I am making some really good progress on this wrap. I added another 10 rows to the wrap and given the size of it that is a good accomplishment in the week.

I hope to continue to move this wrap forward again this week as it still isn't the size that I would like it to be. I am wondering how much yarn I will be using on the project, but I am going to continue to work on it until I am happy with the size or I run out of this yarn.

Other projects - as I mentioned at the beginning of this post, my English Paper piecing projects have been getting some attention and that makes me feel good. I will show the project on the projects when I write that blog at the end of the month.

I hope everyone is finding time to do the things that you enjoy. It doesn't have to be for a long time but at least taking a bit of time for yourself, each day is important. Well, I hope to have something to show you next week.

Making some proggress

Here it is the start of another week and hopefully a week where the weather cooperates. It has been a little less humid which has been nice and now to see what this week is going to be like.

Stained Glass Orca - this is the piece that came out this las week for a bit of attention. I have decided to work on getting more of the structure of the piece done and I think I made some good progress on it.

I know that there is still a very long way to go on this piece as I am currently just over 4% complete. I am very happy with this piece and just working on getting some more of the structure completed has been good. I am not certain how much more of it I will work on it as I have a goal for this project that will start in September. So, have some of the structure ready should help me with the project that is coming soon. I will explain what I am going to be doing with this piece in the latter half of September.

Granny Wrap - well, this project didn't get a lot of progress this past week as I just didn't pick it up. The good news is I did finish a ball of yarn so that has helped so there is now 150-grams in this wrap, but I know that it will be getting more added.

I haven't figured out the size that I want the wrap to be, but I do know that it is going to be larger than it currently is. As I get close to the end of each ball of yarn, I look at the project and try and figure out how much larger I want it or if it is large enough. I am thinking that I might have another 100-grams of yarn to add but we will see when I get close to finishing the next 50-gram ball of yarn.

This week I would like to see if I could pick this project up for a little while each day to make a bit of progress on it. This project hasn't got the attention that it should have this past couple of weeks, so I need to try and move it forward.

Other projects - well my English Paper Piecing has been getting some attention so now to see if I can continue to work on it as well as get some more progress on my crocheting and cross stitch projects. I have been enjoying working on a couple of my EPP projects so we will see what happens this week.

I hope everyone is finding time to do something that they enjoy each day. It doesn't have to be anything major but at least taking that bit of time to relax and recharge is important. If things go well this week, I hope to have some progress to show you next week, but we will have to see. At least, I know that there will be some progress to show when I write my English Paper Piecing blog at the beginning of September.

A small finish, and some more progress

Here it is the start of another week, and we will see how things go. I know that the weather is once again a roller coaster as we have lots of heat and humidity so that means possible thunderstorms most days. What is interesting most of the time is the storms look like they are heading our way only to split and go either to the north or south of us.

Wishful Thinking - here is the project that I tried to work on a bit as I wanted to see if I could get most of the words added to the bottom rows. I did get some done but I still have one more word to go so we will see when that gets done.

I am thinking that this project is going to go away for a little while so that I can work on something else. It isn't going very far away but at least I am going to take a bit of a break from work on this project.

There are a lot of other projects that I would like to work on so I have decided that given I haven't been working on this piece very much it's time for it to go away for just a little while and maybe other project will come out and I can get some good progress on it.

Vintage ABC's - B - here is the one project that did get the attention this week as I wanted to see if I could possibly get another letter finished. These are nice to work on as they aren't very large and with just the three colours, they normally go pretty quickly. I do hope that I can continue to work on the letters as being able to get more of them done would be great.

One thing I have decided is I am not going to be working on the letters in order so now that I have four of the letters completed it's time to pick the next one that will get completed and we will see how it goes.

I am thinking that I might go future into the alphabet this time and maybe work on one of those letters, but we will have to see how it goes. I currently have A - B - C - H completed and have enjoyed how quickly they do stitch up.

I am not certain if this project will come out this week or not. I haven't figured out the project that is going to get the attention this week as of yet.

Granny Wrap - grey - this project once again got some attention as it is something that I enjoy picked up and working on it when I have those little bits of time. I have been able to get a few more rows added to the project so that has made me happy. I would like to continue to move this project forward a bit each day. I am getting close to finishing the third 50-gram ball of yarn so we will see how many more balls of yarn get added to this piece.

This is a great project to have around because I can pick up and work on it for the time, I have available and it doesn't matter if I finish a row or not. I can just pick this piece up and put it down when I want to.

Other projects - well my English Paper Piecing has been getting quite a bit of attention this past week again. I have been enjoying working on the pieces that I am currently focusing on. I have been trying to focus on some of the smaller projects as it has been fairly hot and humid, so I don't want a large project on my legs. I will show you those projects at the end of the month.

I hope everyone is finding that time each day to do something that you enjoy doing and it helps recharge your personal battery. This week, I am not certain what projects are going to be getting attention so we will see have to wait and see. Have a good week and hopefully I will have some progress on something next week.

A frustration, a finish, a new start and some progress

Here it is the start of another week and hopefully the weather will be nice without any major storms. It has been a little cooler the last few days so now to see if we can at least warm up just a little bit so we can get back to enjoying being outside and sitting on the balcony again.

Wishful Thinking - this is the project that I had hoped to get done on in the last week. I was able to get the border finished which is good. I hope to see more progress on this piece soon but while stitching on it last week I found an issue with the pattern. I had imported the pattern into Pattern Keeper and was working along well or at least I think it was going well until I looked at the word less.
When I compared the letter e to the ones in the words above it on the pattern, I discovered that there was a problem with the chart. When the chart imported into Pattern Keeper it removed a horizontal row of the pattern. This meant that the words in this section were one row short. This is an issue with some Long Dog Sampler patterns and Pattern Keeper, but I didn't even think to check. I was pretty upset when I realized that I was going to have to figure out how to correct this issue. After chatting with my husband, we realized that I could just add the row to the bottom of the letters and I would still have room in this section. So, my husband took the project away from me and he took out the two s's that I had stitched and the part of the e that was wrong. Now I will work on moving this project forward again and I will use the paper pattern to stitch the words in that row.

Vintage ABC's - H - here is a project that has been sitting around for a couple of months so I figured it was time to see if I could get it moved forward again. This is the third letter that I have stitched, and they don't take long once you focus on moving it forward. There are only three colours in all these designs so there isn't a lot of changing colours so they do stitch up relatively quickly.

I picked up this piece after the issue with Wishful Thinking and decided to just focus on it to see how quickly I could get it done. It only took me one day of stitching to finish the letter and the one holly leaf. I am happy getting this small ornament completed and am looking forward to getting the rest of the letters completed.

Vintage ABC's - B - Yesterday after a couple of days of no cross stitch I decided I would pick up something that was easy to work on. I started the B ornament and am happy with the progress that I was able to get done on it. These ornaments don't take that long to complete which is nice and I will see how quickly this one gets done. I hope that I don't put it down like I did the Holly ornament. I might try and get this completed before I go back and work on Wishful Thinking as getting another one of these ornaments done would make me happy.

Granny Wrap - grey - here is the crocheting that has got the attention this past week.  I have been enjoying having a project that I can just pick up and work on and see some progress on it.  I still haven't decided how big this is going to be, but I do know that I have some more crocheting to do before I can say that this project is done.

I have been thinking about the size that I would like to have so that means that there is going to be more yarn added to this piece. I am thinking that I still need to add at least a couple more 50 grams balls into this project and maybe then it will be big enough. It is a great project to work on when I have those few minutes as I don't have to complete a row as this is just pick it up and go without a pattern or anything else.

Other projects - I have worked on my English Paper piecing in the last little while and it makes me happy to be able to continue to work on that. I hope to be able to continue to move some of those projects forward a bit at a time.

I hope everyone is enjoying the summer and finding that time to enjoy doing something that you like doing. If things go well, I hope to have some progress on something to show you next week.

Progress on a few things

Here it is the start of another week and hard to believe that July is almost over. I know for me this month has been flying by and now to see what I have been able to accomplish.

This past week has been one of those weeks without a really focus so that means that there are quite a few projects work on instead of focusing on moving only a couple forward. The weather was also cooler than it has been so that meant being able to focus on things that I normally don't in the summer.

Wishful Thinking - this project did get a bit of attention, and I am finally getting closer to having the border completed. Getting the border completed would be nice and then I could focus on filling in the words and the rest of the design. The border is what is taking so long because there are lots of stitches in it, so getting it done would be great.

I am not certain if I will work on this piece this coming week, but we will see as I haven't put it away so that helps as it is available for some attention.

Star Touched Meadows - February - here is a piece that hasn't had any attention since early June, so I thought it was time for it to at least get a few stitches in on it.

I was able to work on it and my goal was to see if I could complete another colour on the piece and I accomplished that. It is an easy project to work on because as each quadrant is the same so once you do one section you know what you need in the next section.

Of course, this project didn't get a lot of attention as my brain wanted me to work on other things so we will see how things go in the next little while if this piece gets some more attention.

I am not certain what cross stitch is going to be getting the attention this week as there are a few that I would like to pick up and maybe work on but I guess we are going to have wait and see what gets attention and what is going to have to wait for another week.

Granny wrap - grey - here is one project that did get a bit of attention this week as it was a great project to work on while watching some videos. It doesn't look like a lot of progress, but I was able to get just over four rows completed so that was nice. The rows are getting longer so they do take more time to complete but I am enjoying this project and am still figuring out how large this wrap is going to be.

Other projects - this week I can say that I have been working quite a bit on my English Paper Piecing and it makes me happy. I have spent quite a bit of time moving some of those projects forward.

It has felt great seeing projects moved forward and I will write more when I write that blog at the end of the month.

I hope everyone has been having a good summer and you are finding that time to do the things that make you happy. Being able to at least do some things that make you happy is important. If you are dealing with storms or extreme heat, please try and stay safe. Before long we are going to be complaining that it's too cold and there is too much snow.

This week I am not certain what I will be working on as each day I just work on something that makes me happy. I hope to have something to show you next week and until then take care of yourself and I will be posting my English Paper Piecing blog on the 1st of the month and I will then be back next Monday with what else I have worked on this week.

Some good progress

Here it is the start of another week so it's time to show what I have been able to get completed in the last seven days. It was extremely hot and humid here which meant that I didn't get as much stitching done. We were also dealing with a lot of smoke from the fires in Northern Ontario.

Hopefully this coming week I will be able to get some more stuff moved forward as it would be nice to progress on a couple of things. I haven't decided what I am going to work on yet so we will see what comes out.

Wishful Thinking - this project didn't get a lot of attention this week, but I was able to move it forward a bit.

I have been trying to work on getting some of the border completed so that I can just fill in the sections. It is nice when I can pick up and work on this piece and see progress. I am not certain if this piece is going to stay out for this week or not. It is something easy to stitch on but there are other projects that are calling me as well so we will see what happens.

Stained Glass Orca - here is the cross stitch piece that got the most attention this week. I had wanted to try and focus on it for a while, and I am happy with the progress that I was able to achieve.

I was able to finish the bottom three rows of black and then I started outlining some of the sections as I wanted some fill in stitching for this weekend. The areas that I filled in are navy so they don't show up very well in picture but that was lots of navy stitching the last couple of days. It was nice to get some of these sections filled in and I will see when I pick this piece back up.

Granny Wrap - here is the crocheting piece that I worked on this week. It would have had more progress on it but I found an error a row back so I had to pull it out and restitch the row. Well, I did that and thought I had corrected the mistake, but I hadn't so I had to pull out the row for a second time, and I am finally moving this piece forward.

I hope to be able to make more progress on this wrap this coming week as it would be nice to see it continue to grow and then I can figure out how large I want to make it. I know that I am aiming for at least 200 grams of yarn into this wrap, but we will see if it is even more.

Other projects - with the heat and poor air quality that we had this last week there wasn't a lot of energy to do much other than what I got done. Hopefully this coming week I can make some good progress on things.

I hope everyone is continuing to find that little bit of time each day to do something that you enjoy. Knowing that you can relax and recharge your personal battery is very important so that you are available for those around you. This week, I hope to be able to make some progress on one of my cross stitch projects and the granny wrap so should have something to show next week.

Another week and a bit of progress

Here it is the start of another week, and we are about to go back into another week of extreme heat and humidity. Hopefully the humidity won't be too bad, but we will just have to wait and see.

Wishful Thinking - here is the cross stitch project that got the attention again this week. I have been trying to make a bit of progress on the entire piece so that I could start to see the actual size. I have at least been able to get to the top and the other side of the piece.

I had originally had this piece on a q-snap but moved it to a scroll frame and am finding it a little easier to work on. It also means that I can work across the entire piece and that makes me feel so much better. Just being able to see what the piece is going to look like is great.

This week I hope to be able to continue to move this piece forward, but it will depend on the weather and if sitting and working on this piece is possible. I would like to see how much more of it I can get done this week and then I think I will put it down for a little bit and work on another one of my projects.

Granny Wrap - grey - this piece also got a bit of progress as I have been trying to move it forward a bit at a time. It was nice having something that I could pick up and even get a few stitches in at a time.

I am working on the second ball of yarn on this wrap, and I still have no idea how big I am going to make this. I am thinking at least four balls of this yarn so that would be 200 grams, but when I get that far I will figure out how much larger I want to make this piece.

Other projects - I haven't done much of anything else lately because it has been so hot and humid out. Hopefully the weather will cool down a bit, and I will start to work on things a bit more.

Hope everyone is finding that bit of time to do something that you enjoy each day even if it's only for a few minutes. If things go well, I hope to have some progress on something to show you next week.

A small finish, a new start and some progress

This past week was extremely hot and humid so that made it a bit of a challenge to get things done but I tried. Hopefully, this week will be better, and I will see some progress on things.

Nun's Stitch Castle - this is another project that was started many years ago and I knew it was time to get it finished. The worst part about this project is, it took me this long to get it finished. I started this at a Creative Festival in Toronto many years ago and finally I can say it is finished.

Once I picked it up this week, I knew that it would be a fast finish and it was. Not sure why it took so long to get it finished but at least, I know that it is now done and I will finish it up as a small magnet and then I can display it.

Wishful Thinking - here is a new start that I started on Saturday. As soon as I saw the pattern I knew that it was something that I wanted to stitch so it was figure out the colour of floss and fabric and then get it started. I am happy with the progress that I have made on the piece already and we will see how quickly it gets completed. It isn't that large so it shouldn't take long if I can stay focused on it.

The pattern is by Long Dog Sampler, and you can find it here and you can pick your colour of floss and have some fun stitching it.

Granny Wrap - scrap - this is one of the crocheting projects I worked on this past week as it was something that I could work on while sitting on the balcony. This pattern is so much fun to work on. Working on this project is enjoyable as I don't know what colour is going to appear next in this ball of yarn so that makes it an interesting project. I am looking forward to seeing how this one turns out, and I haven't even thought about the size of it yet as I am just enjoying adding on all the different scrap balls of yarn that I have.

Granny Wrap - grey - this is the other crocheting project that I worked on this past week. What I realized when I was working on both wraps this past week is I should try and focus on one of the wraps each week instead of trying to work on both.

I am going to try and focus on one of the wraps this coming week and will see how much of it I can get completed. If things go well and I stay focused on one of the shawls I might see some good progress on it.

Other projects - I didn't work on any other projects this past week and a lot of that is because of how hot it was. I do have a few more projects that I would like to work on but for now I am going to try and stay as focused as I can and maybe see some projects moved forward.

I hope everyone has been staying safe and cool given all the storms and heat we have been dealing with. This week it looks like the weather might be a little nicer so we will just have to wait and see. If things go well, I should have some progress on things to show you next week.

Remember to take some time for yourself each day and recharge those personal batteries as it does help you deal with everything that is going on around you. Have a good week and we will see what I can get accomplished.
