Wishful Thinking - here is the cross stitch project that got the attention again this week. I have been trying to make a bit of progress on the entire piece so that I could start to see the actual size. I have at least been able to get to the top and the other side of the piece.
I had originally had this piece on a q-snap but moved it to a scroll frame and am finding it a little easier to work on. It also means that I can work across the entire piece and that makes me feel so much better. Just being able to see what the piece is going to look like is great. This week I hope to be able to continue to move this piece forward, but it will depend on the weather and if sitting and working on this piece is possible. I would like to see how much more of it I can get done this week and then I think I will put it down for a little bit and work on another one of my projects.
Granny Wrap - grey - this piece also got a bit of progress as I have been trying to move it forward a bit at a time. It was nice having something that I could pick up and even get a few stitches in at a time.I am working on the second ball of yarn on this wrap, and I still have no idea how big I am going to make this. I am thinking at least four balls of this yarn so that would be 200 grams, but when I get that far I will figure out how much larger I want to make this piece.
Other projects - I haven't done much of anything else lately because it has been so hot and humid out. Hopefully the weather will cool down a bit, and I will start to work on things a bit more.
Hope everyone is finding that bit of time to do something that you enjoy each day even if it's only for a few minutes. If things go well, I hope to have some progress on something to show you next week.
