Ornaments finished, progress and a bit of fun

Here it is the start of another week and yes, I was able to make some progress on things in the last week which is good. The weather feels like it is winter now as the temperature has really dropped but they are saying it is going to warm up a little bit over the next week.

It is hard to believe that Christmas is in just a couple of days and if you are anything like me you have been busy getting things ready for the big day.

Magic of Books - as you can see, I have been able to spend some time working on adding more of the black into this piece. It makes me happy to see that I am finally making some progress on it. Of course, there is still quite a bit of black still to add in this section but at least I am finally seeing some progress on it.

I am looking forward to seeing if I can get this black area filled in before too long as it would be nice to work on more of the piece. Even after I fill in this section of black there is still lots of black in the remainder of the piece but not in such large blocks. I am not certain how much longer I will work on this piece right now but seeing more of the black completed would be nice.

Ramsay and Penguin Greetings - here are the Christmas ornaments that I have been working on. It is so nice to see them all finished now. It did take a bit of time to complete them, but I am happy with how they turned out. I had never finished ornaments in this way before, so it was a bit of a challenge, but they are now finished. Two of the Ramsay's and the Penguin Greetings are going to be given as Christmas gifts in a couple of days.

Mini Knitted Hats - something I decided to do this year was to make some table favours for everyone and I am going to be putting a Lindor chocolate in them. These little hats knitted up rather quickly, so they were a lot of fun to make. I added a charm and a hanger so they can be hung on the tree after Christmas dinner.

Other projects - I haven't been working on a lot of other projects this past week as I have been focusing on getting everything ready for Christmas.

I hope everyone is finding a bit of time for themselves during this busy time of year. It can be a challenge to find a lot of time but even a few minutes each day can make a big difference.

I hope everyone has a good week and if you celebrate, I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas.
