A finished project and some good progress

It is hard to believe that another week has just flown by. Of course, with Christmas Day being right in the middle of the week it made for a rather confusing week. At least, I was able to find some time to enjoy some crafting so that is good.

Cross Stitch Supplies Delivery - here is a project that you haven't seen until now. This was a Christmas gift for my sister, and I wanted to ensure that she didn't see it before she received it. It was a lot of fun to stitch, and it was nice to see how much she liked it. 

The actual stitching on this piece didn't take too long to complete. Seeing all the little bits that are part of this design is nice. Being someone that enjoy cross stitching it was a fun stitch and given my sister is also a cross stitcher it made for a nice gift.

Magic of Books - here is the 

focus piece that I worked on over the last week. I was really trying to finish all the black in the bottom section of the design. As you can see, I was able to finally get all the black filled in. I am not certain if I am going to continue to work on this piece right now, but I do know that I will be working on it again soon.

I am happy that I was able to get this section done, because I know that was the area that was keeping me from working on the rest of the piece. Now that all the black is done I might be able to continue to move this project forward.

Other projects - over this last week I was able to work on my English Paper Piecing for a little while so that also got some attention. It was a nice week where I didn't stress about crafting as I wanted to ensure that I had some time to also relax and spend time with family.

I hope everyone had a good week and you were able to find a bit of relax time as well over the holidays. This week looks like it should be a quiet week through at least Wednesday and then it will be back to work and back to a regular routine again.
