I am around

Here is a quick update on why there haven't been any progress updates. 

I haven't been doing any cross-stitch, knitting or crocheting for the last couple of weeks so there isn't anything to show.  I hope that this week I will be able to get back to doing some of the things I love and have missed doing.  I know that without my crafting there isn't much to say so I will just say that everything is fine with me.

Slow progress this week

Linen and Threads Mystery SAL - May 3

Here it is another Monday morning and I am looking back at what I did this week and looking at the progress I notice that there wasn't a lot of actual progress made. There are going to be weeks when there is a lot of time and energy for stitching and then there are weeks like this one where the stitching wasn't something that got a lot of my time or energy.

Linen and Threads Mystery SAL - now, of course, I am still working on getting the May section fo the piece moved forward and hope to get it finished soon.  I am liking how it is turning out and now to see if I can continue to get this section done before the end of the month.

Linen and Threads Mystery SAL - May 13

I have not quite reached the halfway mark of this month's piece so I hope to be able to continue on with the stitching this week and get past the halfway mark and will see where it stands when I take a picture of it at the end of next weekend.


Actually, this is all the stitching that I was able to get done this week.  I did a little bit of knitting as well as I am working on a shawl that I want to finish but again it was slow progress on it as well.

Work has been keeping me busy so evenings have been used for catching up on emails and some of the other things that are needed to be done.  I don't mind when this happens and now to see what this week has in store for me.  I have some projects that I need to work on and get moved forward and then I will see how the rest of the week goes.  I hope to be able to spend some time in the evenings and even on the weekend crafting but will see how it goes.

Progress and a new start

Linen and Threads Mystery Sal - April 29

Here it is a start to another week and I am happy with some of the progress that I have been able to make this week.  No, I haven't been able to get a lot of time to do the stitching that I wanted this week but at least I am making some progress on things so that is great.

Linen and Threads Mystery SAL - I was able to make some progress on this design over the week but again not as much as I would have liked so now to see if I can continue to work on it this week.  I am going to try and see if I can get some more of this project moved along before the end of the week because it would be nice to see this section finished.

Linen and Threads Mystery SAL - May 3

This section of the Mystery SAL is larger than April section so it means that it is going to be taking me longer to get it finished but if I can at least see some progress on it a bit at a time it would make me happy.  This month I will be using all three of the colours that I have selected for this project so it will be fun to see the different colours added when I get to the different items.  I have two of the three colours already in the design and the third one will be added when I get to the middle of the month section and it will only be used for one small section.

Temperature - April 27

Temperature - now here is a project that I am still behind on working on but at least now I think I have figured out a method to get some of the projects moved forward while also getting it caught up.

Temperature - May 6

What I have decided to do is try and keep May up to date while catching up with the April part of the design.  I have the highs for the first five days of May completed and am currently working on the lows for May.  I think being able to keep up with the month would make me feel better so that is what I am trying to do.  I also hope to be able to get things finished up quickly.

Stitching Row - May 6

Stitching Row - here is a new project that I just started on Saturday.  I was looking at a project that was going to be a little different and this was the project that I selected to work on.  Sure it means that I have another project added to my list of things to finish but I am thinking it would be great to see something finished up.

I don't think this project will take me to long to finish as it is basically just the alphabet with a few little things added to it.  I also think that being able to work on a couple of letters a day may help me get through this project quickly.  I am not really sure if I will do the two letters a day but at least if I can make some progress on it during this month would make me feel great.


Of course, work is my main project each day so I will see what time I have this week to work on getting some stitching done.  I have my list of things that I need and want to accomplish this week so that means that I am going to be busy and then will when to see when I have some time to craft.

The weather is finally starting to warm up and it makes me happy to see that the trees are finally starting to turn green and flowers are starting to bloom.  It is now time for me to get back to work as I have a lot of things that I need to try and get finished up this week.
