Here it is the start of another week and hopefully the weather will improve, and we won't have as much rain as we did last week. This last week I was able to spend some time working on my crafting and it felt good.
Mini The Forgotten - here is the cross stitch project that got some attention this past week. I am happy with the progress that I was able to make on it. I have continued to focus mostly on the sections before her wings as I would like to see that section completed.
I am slowly moving this project forward and right now most of what I need to do before I work on the wings, and the back section is to add some glitter thread to two sections. I have added some of it but there is still more to go so hopefully when I pick this piece up again, I will be able to get more of that done.
When I put it down this time, I have reached 85% completed, which is nice and have just over 9,200 stitches left to go. It is still going to take me some time to get this finished but I am getting closer to having it done. I am looking forward to seeing this piece finished so we will see when I pick it up again.
Preemie hats - this past week I was able to focus on some knitting, and I was able to get a few preemie hats finished. The green hat was one that I had on the go before the start of the week, but the remainder of the hats were knit this week.
These hats don't take very long to make so that is nice. It has been a lot of fun working on these hats because it is using up part balls of sports weight yarn that I have had. I hope to be able to get a few more hats made before it's time to do a drop off.
Other projects - I haven't worked on any other projects this past week as I have been focusing on getting the cross stitch and knitting done.
This week I am going to be trying to do a little bit of English Paper Piecing as I haven't been able to get any done yet this month.
I hope everyone is finding that bit of time each day to do something that you enjoy doing. It feels so good when you can spend that bit of time focusing on recharging your personal battery. If things go well this week, I hope to have more to show you next week.
